WHAT DOES ORGANISING A FREEDOM MEAL INVOLVE?
Special encounters at the dinner table, bringing the neighborhood closer together and conversations about themes that you don't think about every day; freedom, lack of freedom, what does that mean in your life? With a freedom meal you expand your world. And are you organizing one? Then you are the driving force behind a new Hague tradition. And that brings - in addition to eternal fame - many grateful fellow citizens with it!

MELD JE AAN
Sta jij al in de startblokken om op 5 mei een maaltijd te organiseren? Meld je dan gauw bij ons aan. In aanmerking komen voor een financiële bijdrage? Maak een account aan op Vfonds.nl. Hier kun je een aanvraag indienen voor €350 of €1.000. Let op: Voor deze landelijke subsidieregeling geldt dat de regeling stopt wanneer het budget op is. Wees er dus snel bij.

SPREAD THE WORD
Om ervoor te zorgen dat je zoveel mogelijk Hagenaars kunt bereiken voor jouw maaltijd, helpen we je graag op weg met handige communicatie-uitingen. De toolkit voor 2026 is op dit moment in ontwikkeling. Hier vind je straks beeldmateriaal, kant en klare teksten en promotiemateriaal om jouw maaltijd bekend te maken.

Performance seeks Freedom Table
Are you a musician, artist, poet, artist or (theatre) maker and would you like to perform for your fellow citizens on Monday 5 May 2025? Let us know via info@haagsevrijheidsmaaltijden.nl . We will happily connect you to Vrijheidstafels that are looking for performances.
What do you get from us?
Materials kit including posters, invitations, image icons (dove), banners for the site and a manifesto full of promotional text and explanations that you can use.
After registering with the National Committee, you can request cans of soup, placemats, conversation cards and glasses.
Help, coaching and advice in planning your meal.
We are happy to connect you to other clubs and organizations.
We are organizing a kick-off meeting in early 2025 where you can meet all the co-organizers and get inspired.

The meal: ask guests to bring a dish to share, serve the (freshly made) Freedom Soup or make a 3-course meal. You can make it as big or small as you want!
The guests at the table. Invite people to the table who do not know each other yet. How do you inform the people in your neighborhood?
Give your meal something extra with a performance or conversation starters. We are happy to help you with that.
